Design Thinking is about understanding people.
It is for me a powerful tool to face complexity:
I work in a nursing home implementing innovations.
There are so many different people, needs and processes.
But at the end, it is about understanding people.
I am a lecturer in Media Technology and Design Thinking coach.
I am also an experienced Graphic designer.
Graphic Design starts with idea generation then prototyping and launch.
Design Thinking is about stepping back, about not accepting the problem you are given because that is existing knowledge.
As a person I am both analytical and creative,
two mindsets that I like to convey to my workshop’s participants.

DESIGN PROCESSES AND CREATIVE METHODS
This month, I taught Design Processes and Creative Methods to our students in IT, Media and Design at Södertörn University, Sweden. There was a real outsourcer: Stureby Nursing Home. Our students developed their concepts of innovative solutions for the development of elderly care, through the five steps of Stanford’s Design Thinking process. During the prototyping step, our students used different kind of material located in different stations in the workshop room: styrofoam, 3D printer, textile, wood, cardboard, soldering, paper, clay. […]
VISUAL THINKING TO SUPPORT INNOVATION FOR INTEGRATION
In 2018, Vinnova funded 10 innovation labs to promote integration. It is within the framework of a workshop in Design Thinking that I made an intervention in Visual Thinking in april 2019. A few days later, I was sent an email from a participant who had been very interested in my intervention. […]

CRASH COURSE IN DESIGN THINKING AT

These five days of crash course in Design Thinking have finally come to an end, I have to say as a workshop leader. A group of thirty bachelors students from Toulouse Business School worked hard but seemed to have fun, trying to redesign their student experience. […]
TESTIMONIALS
“Digitalization of Huddinge Municipality” was our challenge assigned by Huddinge municipality. The course started very smoothly and Vincent’s crash course was conducted very professionally.
Overall, I think the course was a good experience. It was fun to collaborate with students from other countries and I really liked that the challenge was real and came from a real outsourcer.
“C’est la première fois que je fais un travail de groupe ou tout le monde s’implique…. C’était le meilleur cours de Toulouse Business School”.
