Only a few days after graduating from Animationsakademien, author Anki Magnusson contacted me and told me about a project. She, along with illustrator Lovisa Lesse created the books about Inventive Johanna (Uppfinnar-Johanna), a young girl solving all types of problems or situations by creating very… unique… inventions. The books were to be turned into short episodes and shown on UR (Utbildningsradion). I sent them a test animation and was picked to make an episode called ‘’Huttan’’ together with another animator. The episode was made in After Effects and is now available on UR Play. Since I just graduated, I wasn’t entirely sure I would be able to make everything they asked for but after a short while, I realised it’s all about problem solving and finding new solutions. There really is no other way. Today we have had a total of 350 000 views on the episodes, 37 500 of these on UR Play (May 11, 2020). It was an amazing experience and I’m really happy about how it turned out.
